千葉県くりもとにあるミレニアムシティは、パッシブ（受け身）のエコ建築をしており、大きなグラスハウスが昼間の太陽の熱で室内を温めるという原始的な造りになっています。
宿泊施設もグラスハウスの中にバンガローみたいな木造の建物があり、同じ構造で暖冷は自然の摂理を利用します。 いわゆる原始的なエコハウスです。

ミレニアムシティは、グラスハウスという、共同宿泊施設＆キッチンからできていて、中庭などの屋外共同エリアもあり、庭の共同スペースもあります。 周りでは田園風景が広がります。

井口浩さんという建築デザイナーのデザイン、コンセプトが、セルフビルドという、皆の手による建築で立てられ、それは、環境を伝えていくものだったり、人と人との ふれあいの大切さ、楽しさを伝えていくイベントやコミュニティの施設です。

思い思いの「夢」を、語り合います。緑や畑に囲まれた中では、正直な自分の「やりたい事」が口からぽろっとでてしまい、ミレニアムシティで、はじめて出会ったはずのツアーの仲間から意見や賞賛などをもらいます。

Kurimoto Millennium City in Chiba prefecture has a passive eco build and it has a massive glass house to intake sunlight during the day to heat up the rooms. Even the accommodation section has the glass-house build but it also has a wooden bungalow in side the glass house. The moderation of the air temperature is completely natural. This type of building is known as a primitive eco-house.

In the Millennium City, there’s a glasshouse with a shared accommodation space and a kitchen inside it. There’s also an outdoor garden and an outdoor community space. Around the facility, there are farmlands that stretches for miles.

The house was built under the works done by Mr.Hiroshi Iguchi the architect along with many others. It is a community where people value the environment and socialising.

旭ミレニアムシティ

Asahi Millennium City

同じく千葉県旭市にあるミレニアムシティはアクティブ。。。という最新設備のエコ住宅になっており、実験的にスタートします。
場所は広大な土地（畑を含む）が眺められる高台にあり、ミレニアムシティの会員と住人のための畑が右手に広がります。
２階建てで、１階が共同のお風呂（２つ）とバイオトイレがあります。 バイオトイレは大や小を土に変える仕掛けになっています。

Just like the Kurimoto Millennium City, the Asahi Millennium City started with the intension of building an eco living space with an active community.
It is located on an elevated area with farmlands spread beneath. It is a 2 story building with a community bath on the first floor and a bio toilet. Incase you’re wondering what a bill toilet is, a bio toilet is designed to convert excrement in to soil.

トイレに使う水量

住宅向けの大便器では、1回当たりの洗浄水量が大8L、小6Lとなっている製品が主流となってきています。一方でビルや公共施設で多く利用されるフラッシュバルブ式の大便器では、一回当たりの洗浄水量が10L以上の製品が主流となっています。一回当たりの洗浄水量は、汚物が下水配管まで流せるだけの水力が求められることから、洗浄水量が少な過ぎても良くありません。これらの水がセーブできます。

電気はソーラーシステムでまかないます。水も井戸を堀っています。 水道局も電力会社も要らない家が完成に向かっています。

オープンしたての旭ミレニアムシティでは、一般電気との併用からスタートし 徐々に完全循環型住宅へと向かっています。 2階に上がると共同リビングとキッチンが占め、そこから絶景のデッキが広がります。

この住宅デザインはグラスハウスをベースにしていてその中に古民家風の藁葺き屋根を入れ、リラックスできる空間から、太陽、海、広大な緑の風景が１度にみる事ができます。

The toilet for residents uses about 8 litres of water in one flush. The standard toilets in buildings and public area uses over 10 litres per flush. Now that’s a big difference.

The power is off solar energy and the water is from the well. We are seeking to create homes that doesn’t rely on electric corporates and and waterworks.

At the recently opened Asahi Millennium City, they started by using self generated electricity along with general electricity and slowly inching towards total self sustainability. Moving to the 2nd floor, there is a community living space along with a kitchen. You can see the beautiful scenery from there.

This design is using a glass house as its base and it has a thatched roof in the inside. You can see the sun, ocean, and the big nature from there
